The Kansas City Renaissance Festival offers a day
like no other to eager visitors from across the Midwest.
This year guests will also enjoy the antics of the all
new Washer Well Wench show all seven weekends and
bagpipe shows from Tartanic the first four weekends in
September with additional pipes until the end of the
Festival. Rehtaeh, the new Elven Enchantress will
perform 6 times each day singing original music in
Tolkien Elvish, Maiden’s Whymsie, a new music duo joins
the cast, the Gypsy Musical will perform on the Crown
and Rose Stage 5 times daily, and the Barbarians have
taken over the forest with fights scheduled several
times each day and Barbarian Battles scheduled twice
each day at the jousting arena. By far the rowdiest
shows each day star the Knights of Noble Cause
Productions, national joust troupe, with shows at the
Renaissance Downs 4 times each day in all variances of
battle and competition. And, guests can find cooling
mists throughout the show this year to keep everyone
comfortable!
The world famous turkey legs are of course on their
way to Canterbury as well as a host of other treats
found only at the Renaissance Festival. Shopkeepers
bring out their very finest of wares, for the harvest
always brings a multitude of visitors intent on great
shopping.
Tickets can be purchased at the Festival gates just
north of I -70 and K-7 Highways in Bonner Springs,
Kansas on show days at $16.95 for adults, $7.95 for
