First person survey for: Morgaine (the witch)
Name Given at Birth: Morgaine, if I had a surname I do not recall for I have never used one.
Nicknames: People tend to call me witch and if I am not bothered by it I tend to answer so I guess that qualifies as a nickname.
Hometown or where you were born: I was born in the Cornish countryside long ago before England was the England we know tonight.
Current Residence: I dwell in a cave in the Scottish highlands. However, I travel frequently when employed by the other creatures of the night to perform some magical task that they haven’t the ability to perform themselves.
Age: I look as if I am in my mid-twenties but in reality I am much older. As for the exact number of my age I cannot be sure as I am not sure what year I was born in. I do know I was born in winter under the astrological sign Pisces.
Class: I have lived outside of normal society all of my days, so the class hierarchy is alien to me but within the supernatural world I have always been well respected for my magical abilities. Where that corresponds to a certain class I know not.
Are you dead or alive? I do not know!!! Can you truly be alive if you cannot die and can you truly be dead if you cannot live?
If dead, how did you die or how were you sired? I was born into my current state.
Short term goal: To successfully stir the spell that I was contacted to do for the madam and the Ancient One.
Long term goal: To return to my Scottish home and have a daughter to carry on my legacy.
What do you do your main function in life/society? I provide magical service including stirring spells for the supernatural community and on rare occasions someone in the mortal world will seek me out for a magical solution to their problems.
Have you ever taken a life? Yes and as the situation arises I will do so again and again. However, the real question you should ask is whether I regret taking those lives? The answer is no, I have no regrets for whatever spell I was stirring required human sacrifice.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime? Long ago when I was moving about Europe I happened to be accused of witchcraft and convicted. The flames singed my clothes a bit but I did not burn. No real witch would ever burn so those thousands of souls convicted and executed were innocent of witchcraft.
Closest friends/How did you meet? I haven’t any friends! I was never a part of normal mortal society so I never developed friendship with anyone and within the supernatural community we make temporary allies but never friends.
Pets: I have a cat but she is not a pet in as much as she is my familiar. I can draw and store energy needed for magic in her.
Favorite food: pumpkin tarts
Favorite place to relax: the misty hilltop of the Glastonbury Tor. Before Christianity came to these shores the Tor was and is a place of power. I go there to relax and draw upon the ancient power that dwells in the Earth.
Favorite Drink: Mulled mead
What's your bedtime? I go to my rest as the sun rises. I much prefer the dark hours of night but the sun does not affect me as it does some of my brethren of the night.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet? Black boots that only the style and heel change as time progresses.
Are you married or single? Single as I am ordained to be.
Do you have a family / who are they: I have a sister, her and I were the first twins ever born in our family. Usually there is only one birth per generation as we seem to live outside of time. The birth of her triplets was the second such anomaly. I do not know if I will have one or three as she did. Then there is my mother and all of our forbearers stretched to the far corners of the Earth.
Favorite Entertainment: dancing around the fire at the witching hour. Sometimes I even wear clothes when I dance but it is more fun to do so in the nude.
Most Humiliating Moment: Being tied to a stake in Germany and watching the flames lick at my clothes. I escaped but used a great deal of power to call that magic and was weakened for some time after. What I still do not understand is how I was caught.
Proudest Moment: When my mother announced my education was over and I was able to stir spells without any guidance.
What do you look for in the opposite sex? Power and psychic ability
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, who is your immediate "overlord"? Currently the Ancient One is my current overlord as she has retained my services.
How do you feel about that person? I like her well enough but we are not friends nor are we enemies.
Favorite sport to watch: the kaber toss, though not Scottish by birth I have been here a long time and have come to appreciate the games of the Scots.
Do you remember your first kiss? Vaguely. It was a long time ago and if I remember correctly it was for a ritual something to do with marrying the king and the land. It was also the night I lost more than my first kiss.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends? I haven’t any childhood friends to keep in touch with.
Do you have dirt/mud floors or stone? I have laid stone in some parts of my cave but most of the floor remains dirt.
What is your bed made of? I have a straw mattress that is supported by a wooden frame. I have recently added a feather bed and I have always had warm blankets against the chill.
How many people sleep in your bed? Usually I sleep alone but I have been known to bring a "gentleman" home for a bit of recreation and then the more the merrier.

- I am very powerful witch and also gifted with magical abilities which means in addition to stirring spells I also have metaphysical abilities.
- I do not know how old I am. I have seen things that were considered magic when I was young become everyday.
- I do not know if I am alive or dead or whether I can truly live or die.
- I am not a good witch. Not meaning I am bad at my craft but I practice the evil side of witchcraft.
- I travel quite a bit at the invitation of other creatures of the night to perform bits of magic that they are unable to perform themselves.
