Name Given at Birth: Giacomo Bellamin Nicknames: Giacomo Hometown or where you were born: Kent Current Residence: Canterbury Age: 17 Class: Upper What do you do, your main function in life/society: I make a fool of myself. Just that. I laugh, I sing *cough*, I dance, and stunt for my liege. Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: Yes I do. I was taught in my travels with the gypsies, in Madagascar. And, yes, I have. And for those of you wondering about the stories... it was very cold. Do you make fun of people: And where would I be if I didn't? Favorite Color: Yellow. It is a happy and lively color that seems to just brighten up a day. Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Committed... yes. Convicted... no. When I was in Madagascar, I needed to steal for food. A couple times I was almost caught. But even though the guards were strong... I was faster. Closest friends/How did you meet: My closest friend would have to be Princess Margaret. She is really the only one that actually cares for me. Whenever the King is being harsh or unruly towards me, she always interrupts and helps me out. Not only that, but as the jester, I do not get much food, if any at all. But she is always willing to slip me a scrap when the king is not looking. We met in the castle, of course. First we passed in a passage way in the castle, and she barely gave me the slightest glance. Then we met in court, when I had to perform for the first time. And we didn't really meet until we accidentally met in the palace gardens one day. We talked about some different, assorted things, nothing with much meaning really. And after that, we became really good friends. One Pillow or two: One, filthy, uncomfortable pillow. Even though I may be a member of the royal court, it doesn't mean that the king likes me. Pets: I own a ferret. None of the royals know about it, except Margaret, because I am really not supposed to have a pet. But he has been a good friend ever since I found him in Madagascar. Favorite Type of Music: I like the kind of music that you don't have to be good vocally to sing. Those and ones that make people smile. Hobbies/Pastimes: Besides the obvious juggling, and dancing, and acrobatics. I write poetry. That may not seem much like me, but I am actually a helpless romantic at heart. Personal Hygiene: I wash when ever I am to be presented to the royal family, or I am to perform for them. Favorite Food: Apples. I live off of apples. When I was working the streets in Madagascar, apples were the easiest thing to steal. So I ate those. Are your parents alive, do you get along with them: I don't care whether they are alive or dead. They are the ones that made me live on the streets. When I was a boy in Kent, my parents treated me distastefully and abusively. They hated my soul. So I ran away. I hitched rides down to the sea, then stowed away on a boat that was headed to Madagascar. If your parents are dead, when and how did they die: As I said before, I do not care. Favorite place to relax: I have two places. The palace gardens, so I can just slow down and unwind after a long day of work. And in front of a crowd. I really like to make people laugh, and that makes me feel good about what I am doing. Favorite Holy Day / Why: It may not be a holy day in most people's eyes, but it is in mine. This would be "The festival of fools" Probably the most fun I've ever had. Favorite Drink: Wassail. It is a mixture of Cider and other spices. I learned of its glory traveling with the gypsies. What's your bedtime: When ever I feel like not causing mayhem. What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: Boot/Moccasins. I need the special type of soul so I can perform my stunts. Are you married or single: Single. And looking at somebody that I know I will never have. Do you have a family / who are they: My only family now are the people that are in my everyday life. Favorite Entertainment: Play with the Princesses. Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: I never went to school, and I never did my chores. So my favorite thing to do was cause mayhem in and all around Kent. Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: Out of all the things I didn't do whilst growing up, I would have to say that my least favorite thing to do was, clean. Favorite Sport: Acrobatics. I have to love it to be having the job I have now. Most Humiliating Moment: There was one day in the court, that I was performing in my new shoes. the bottoms of these shoes were harder so they were slicker than my normal shoes, right? Well, I was doing everything perfectly and these new shoes were starting to feel good on my feet, but then I tried to end my act. In ending my act, I do a cartwheel, to a back flip. Pretty simple right? Actually, that is right. But on this day, luck was against me. When I landed (remember, I'm leaning forward on the landing), my feet slipped out behind me, and I smacked my face against the hard marble floors. I broke my nose. On any other occasion this wouldn't have been so bad, but this was a day that the King was hosting a party, in which, there were about 3 or 4 different sets of royalty there. To make a long story short, I got in trouble. Proudest Moment: This may not seem like much, but it was the day that I was accepted as the King's jester. Before this, I was begging and stealing in the streets of Madagascar. But then, I was found by the Maestro, and he brought me here. I never expected to even get a job. But, as you can see, I did. Craziest Person or silliest you know: That one guy in the mirror. What do you look for in the opposite sex: Kindness and a warm heart. In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, Who is your immediate "overlord" The royal family. And how do you feel about that person: I don't really like the King as much as I do everybody else, but I still love him.Favorite Sport to watch: Jousting Do you remember your first kiss: I have never had one. Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends: The only friend I have kept in touch with is my ferret. Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: I personally like the gardens and (when I can actually get out of the castle) I enjoy the countryside. Have you ever been overseas: Yes. Read all of the above for more details. Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: Stone What is your bed made of: Straw How many people sleep in your bed: Just me. Nobody really knows where I sleep though, so that's quite nice.
