Look at the cast list and decide who among the
cast would be your friends and tell us all the details of your

Be creative. Is there a favorite mare in the Princess's
stable that you think is yours? An animal of the forest?

It's a very musical time, music is everywhere from
gypsy violins to the psalms sung at mass.
Hobbies/Pastimes -
Most people aren't going to have much time. Also remember
that not many people are going to have time for such things as reading
or writing (not that many people could read or write) Even
if you can read and write, you're not going to spend the evening
beside the fire reading because books as we know them do not
exist. If you're reading anything, it's probably the Bible
if you're fortunate enough to own one.
Personal Hygiene -
Remember the prevailing feeling about water when answering
this question, and about cleanliness in general.:
(Note – Your character may only bath once a
year but you, as a professional performer, shampoo and shower
everyday. We are not that much in character.)

This can be whatever. It doesn't have to be whatever
your character can afford. Maybe it's a delicacy you only get during the harvest faire.:

Your parents control where you fall in the chain
of life. They will decide whom you marry and generally set your

Life expectancy is short. 40 years is considered
pretty old in this period, although if you're in the court you can
expect to live longer. If you're very old at all (over 20?) your
parents are probably dead.

Most characters aren't going to be able to go far, but think
about Canterbury and where you (as your character) might go to get away from it all.

as we know them today) is set by the rising and the setting of the sun.

You put your wealth in your feet and will wear the
best that you can afford. Don't just put shoes. Think about it.:

Married or single, it's a simple question. But elaborate. If you're single, are you looking?

Know who your family is, even if you have to make them up.

Many people wouldn't have taken a vacation or even knew what a vacation was.

of Canterbury in their lives. If you've had occasion to be on the

Our patrons may not need to know the answers to

them for yourself, you will know who you are. If you, as a
character, know who you are, our patrons will believe you are that
