Nicknames: My father often called me Zeta, meaning little girl. My closest friends call me Lia. And ones even closer have names for me not to be spoken here.
Hometown or where you were born: Anchona, Marche, Italy; Home of my father.
Current Residence: When not traveling Europe, I stay in the family estates in Anchona or Pesaro.
Age: I am nearing 20 years: The youngest of my compania.
Class: Silly question, nobility of course.
What do you do, your main function in life/society: As Viscontessa, I care for the lands that my father left behind, being his only living heir, he felt it fit that I take over for him. I travel with other noble women of Italy, Whilst trying to stay unwed.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: Living on the coast of Italy, my father took me out quite often as a child. I enjoy a day in the water, weather it be clothed or not.
Do you make fun of people: I do not surround myself with people who allow themselves to be made fun of.
Favorite Color: The most royal of them all, Deep Violet, of course.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Well I wouldn’t dream of lowering myself.
Closest friends/How did you meet: My compania are like the sisters I never had. The Baronessa Gula, whom I call Ama, I practically grew up with. Our fathers were business partners and close friends, and I spent many summers at her home, or she at mine.
One Pillow or two: One or two? That’s very funny. Some nights ten is not even enough for my head to rest on.
Pets: At home in Marche we have cats and dogs. As well as the usual sheep, cows and horses. But none come with me on travel.
Favorite Type of Music: Courtly Italian, and secretly, I do enjoy the gypsy drums and bells when they revel at night.
Hobbies/Pastimes: I do enjoy embroidery and sewing, tatting, painting, and so on. My father taught me how to hawk when I was a girl, and when I get the rare chance, I do enjoy a good hunt.
Personal Hygiene: I believe I bathe fairly regularly.
Favorite Food: Lamb, turkey, and grapes, cheese and wine. I could never choose just one.
Are your parents’ alive, do you get along with them: They are both sadly deceased, may God watch them and let their souls rest.
If your parents are dead, when and how did they die: My mother could not carry children to term. It was a miracle that I lived. Perhaps the reason my father doted on me so. She had many miscarriages, then by God’s good will, I was born and both my mother and I lived. Four years later, after two more failed pregnancies, it seemed my parents had another miracle. Alas, it was not to be, My mother died less than a week after my brother was born still. My dear father was heart broken, never to love another. We were all each other had, until a little over a year ago, when my father’s failing health finally got him and he passed away in the spring.
Favorite place to relax: When at home, the beaches near my home in Anchona. In my travels I like to find a nice garden to find my peace.
Favorite Holy Day / Why: Why, my own day of course! ‘Tis the day all about me.
Favorite Drink: Sweet grape wine from the vineyards in Tuscany.
What's your bedtime: After all the business, and better yet, revels, have ended.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: Only the finest shoes. Not only are they useful, but always beautiful as well.
Are you married or single: I have my friends, so I feel that I do not need a husband.
Do you have a family / who are they: My compania. Ama and her children. Mayhap someday I’ll settle and have children. The idea does seem friendly.
Favorite Entertainment: Commoners. They are always so interesting to watch. Courtly dance, with the English men. Their women always seem so shocked.
Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: My hawking lessons with my father were always a thrill.
Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: Mathematics. I would beg my father to make them end. Of course I realize now he was only preparing me to care for things after he was gone.
Favorite Sport: I rarely participate in anything but a dance, but I do enjoy watching hunts and the games that the gypsies play.
Most Humiliating Moment: My father taught me to never be ashamed of anything one does. My mother made me brush my hair ten times a day. They were of the belief that if one must refuse to be humiliated.
Proudest Moment: Being my fathers daughter, The day that he named me soul heir to all of his estates and business endeavors, even though I am female and unwed, receiving my title of Viscontessa.
Craziest Person or silliest you know: Ama’s dear father the Baron Gula. Like an uncle to me, he is quite an amazing character.
What do you look for in the opposite sex: I don’t! Oh I suppose if I had to, I’d say a sense of usefulness and profitability.
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, Who is your immediate "overlord": I am the lowest ranking of my compania, yet we tend to treat each other as equals. In England the queen is my governor. Of course I do not mind, as she is a strong woman, with no need for a husband, much like myself.
Favorite Sport to watch: Archery, and hunts.
Do you remember your first kiss: I remember when I was around fourteen years old and my father was trying to betroth me to a different young man every month, there was one eager boy who kissed me right on the lips the very day we met. I was in such a state of shock that I hit him square in the mouth and his father demanded that we never see each other again. Pity really.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends: Ama is the only of my childhood friends who is still around. All the maids got married young and went off with their husbands.
Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: I am surprised to say I am enjoying Canterbury quite a lot really.
Have you ever been overseas: Of course. The work of my father takes me to England, France, Spain, all over the world really.
Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: Only the finest stone.
What is your bed made of: The softest down feathers from young geese. Blanks upon blankets of cotton and silk.
How many people sleep in your bed: Myself alone, and that is how it shall stay.
10 Things Everybody Should Know About Me:
1. My father loved me so much that he never made me marry, and he never wished me a boy.
2. I was taught that no matter what, I must believe I am blessed beyond all, that you are blessed to be in my presents, and I must never allow myself to be humiliated.
3. Although I do not wish to marry, I am quite flirtatious, and I would like to have children some day.
4. The women that I travel with all enjoy hobbies and sports that are considered for men alone, such as sword fighting, and hawking. Perhaps it is an Italian trait that we do not mind crossing uncrossable lines.

7. My mother was not born of nobility, but was a maid to a young noble girl in Venice. She met my father at a masque when she was 15 and he was 18. They fell in love and his wonderful father allowed them to wed.
