Titch, the borrowing/ collector faerie
Name Given at Birth: I wasn’t given one. I borrowed the one that I have now from a goat I saw once on a farm. Titch. Some of the fae make fun of me but I think it’s a wonderful name.
Nicknames: Klepto, You there, Hey that’s MINE!
Hometown or where you were born: I poofed in the woods somewhere over Ireland, so I consider Ireland my home land.
Current Residence: Wherever I happen to be.
Age: 14,842 and 36 halves. I am not even sure if that’s my real age, as I have borrowed so many ages over the years. It’s quite hard to keep track of what was mine to begin with and what I have borrowed.
Class: I be a faerie and you cannot see me. Neenerneenerneener!
What do you do, your main function in life/society: I collect pretties, may they be mine, yours or anyone else’s.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: Aye, how else would one swim?
Do you make fun of people: Aye, what faerie does not?
Favorite Color: Methinks the latest favorite color I have borrowed is green, but I am starting to see a need to borrow yours.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Before Kiangley taught me to borrow, I was caught many times stealing. Sometimes even now I get accused of stealing.
Closest friends/How did you meet: I am close friends with all of the fae, although closest with Kiangley and Feelee.
One Pillow or two: It depends on whose pillow I have collected and whether or not they take it back.
Pets: I had a spider named Rodolfo once but I seem to have lost him. Mayhaps he is buried in one of my many chests full of my various treasures. I do hope he has not died. Also, all butterflies are my pets, although the other faeries do sometimes claim them as their own.
Favorite Type of Music: I most enjoy pipes, be them mortal pipes or satyr pipes. The sound that comes from pipes it the most joyful of all music and so much fun to dance to!
Hobbies/Pastimes: Catching bubbles, braiding garlands out of flowers, playing poke-an-elf, looking at clouds, eating, and blowing faerie dust into mortal’s ears.
Personal Hygiene: I be very clean. I bathe every time Flid accidentally pushes me into the river in one of her fits of excitement, which usually happens once or twice a day. Or when Lod touches me. EW, MUD!
Favorite Food: Anything that you’re eating. I always find that others’ food tastes much better than my own, don’t you agree?
Are your parents alive, do you get along with them: I have no parents. I was born when a baby laughed for the very first time. The laugh traveled around the world once and then, poof! It exploded and that’s how I was born.

Favorite place to relax: On the top of a mushroom in a forest somewhere.
Favorite Holy Day / Why: Every holy day is my favorite! We fae always find some way to celebrate every day we can. Also, mortals sometimes get very drunk on their holy days and it’s easier to take... er, borrow their things.
Favorite Drink: Yours.
What's your bedtime: After our reveling is through or when I am tired, whichever comes first.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: I prefer to be barefoot, but if I am somewhere with sticky things on the ground then your shoes will do wonderfully.
Are you married or single: Single. Faeries do not often get married. And besides, when was the last time you saw a fae boy who was not more interested in going on great adventures? Boys are icky!
Do you have a family / who are they: All of the faeries are my family.
Favorite Entertainment: Feelee reciting beautiful poetry. Although she does go on and sometimes I get quite bored and I have to repeat everything she says in order to get her to shut up.
Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: I most enjoy finding treasures and filling my faerie home with them.
Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: Cleaning off mud that Lod chucked at me. I hate mud.
Favorite Sport: Finger jousting. It is quite fun to mimic the mortals playing their silly sports, although ‘tis not quite so fun when you get poked in the eye.
Most Humiliating Moment: The first time I got caught borrowing. I took a shiny from a gypsy named Iosif because I thought he was busy dancing and could not see me hiding behind a stick. He berated me in front of his whole gypsy troupe. I felt so ashamed, but now I have learned. Now I borrow from non-gypsy mortals who cannot see me!
Proudest Moment: When I borrowed a shiny from Mother Nature, just to see if I could. It took a lot of thinking but eventually I did it! I got it almost all the way back to my home before Kiangley made me return it. It was such a pretty shiny and I am very disappointed I could not keep it, but also very proud that I had the skill to do so.
Craziest Person or silliest you know: Callagh. She’s afraid of everything, even wee little butterflies!
What do you look for in the opposite sex: Lots of treasures for me to borrow? I know not, I am much too busy doing very important things to notice boys. Eugh!
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, Who is your immediate "overlord" Mother Nature and the Faerie Queen.
Favorite Sport to watch: Tansy looking for her marbles. It never takes very long though as she usually forgets what she’s doing about a minute after she’s started it.
Do you remember your first kiss: EUGH! Never would I kiss a boy, mortal or fae. They are too dirty. Lod can have them all, she likes dirt.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends: Aye, why wouldn’t I?
Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: I love flying with the bees and the butterflies to where ever they may be going.
Have you ever been overseas: Nay, I stay far and away from the seas in fear of those dreaded kelpies. They eat fae and mortal alike! I prefer to say un-eaten, thank you!
Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: I do not remember the last time I saw the floor in my little house. Dirt, mayhaps?
What is your bed made of: Dirt and stone and leaves and scarves and and Tansy and lace and sticks and ribbons and flowers and feathers and anything else I might find that lies flat.
How many people sleep in your bed: 3: myself, Kiangley and Feelee.
10 Things Everybody Should Know About Me:
1. Butterflies are my favorite and I composed a dance for them once!
2. I will borrow anything and everything (except mud) and probably will never give it back to you.
3. Both mortal and faerie boys are yucky and dirty and smelly and I will not abide them!
4. ...except if they bring me flowers.
5. I eat bugs.
6. The only mortals that can see me are the gypsy folk and those from Bedlam. I prefer it that way... it does makes it so much easier to borrow the things that I want!
7. At times I can be quite clumsy, tripping over things that do not even exist! Sneak tells me that I am pathetical.
8. I love dancing, and will partake in it as often as I can.
9. I am hungry all the time and will take the food right from your hand as you are bringing it to your mouth. It tastes better that way.
10. I do love the ladies of the mortal court for they are giant walking shinies who often have quite nice treasure.
