Nicknames: Why yes, I have a nickname! It is Tansy. Oh wait that is my real name. Never mind.
Hometown or where you were born: Well, let me see here… I think I remember some cliffs or were they trees? Maybe Cornwall? No, it was Ireland, defiantly Ireland!
Current Residence: I keep hearing the mortals around me saying something about Canterbury so I guess I must be in Venice.
Age: Um, 42? No maybe it is 1,997? I am a fairy; let us just say that I am old.
Class: I have wings and have a strange fascination with shiny objects so I suppose that makes me a fairy. Wow! I am a fairy! That is wonderful!
What do you do, your main function in life/society: I think I am suppose to help do something, with someone, somewhere. But mainly I eat things and forget where I am.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: I try to swim but every time I do I forget how. This, as you can imagine, does not turn out too well.
Do you make fun of people: Not really, I usually can not remember enough about people to make fun of them.
Favorite Color: I love the color purple because it reminds me of the coat of a new born deer. All light and fluffy and … oh… sorry that would be brown.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Yes, but I swear it was for a good cause. You see, I was once the son of a nobleman but my lands and titles were stripped from me by an evil and wicked man. So now I rob from the rich and give to the poor in Sherwood Forest. Wait a moment; I am not a man, am I? Oh that is right, that was Robin Hood. Not me! In that case, no I have never to my knowledge committed a crime.
Closest friends/How did you meet: I am friends with all of the fairies though I do not recall just how I met them. Titch, however, does upset me from time to time. She is always stealing my bag of marbles and hiding them. And let me tell you, it is no fun loosing your marbles.
One Pillow or two: I never can remember just where my bed is so I just lay my head on whatever I might find that is soft.
Pets: I once had a pet turtle named Barlow, or was it Thurston, but I forgot where I put him.
Favorite Type of Music: Oh! Music is something I never forget! I love every kind!
Hobbies/Pastimes: I usually spend my time trying to remember my name, which is always fun and challenging. Or sometimes I look for my collection of mortal coins. I am afraid they may be with my marbles. In which case I have lost my marbles and I have no cents!
Personal Hygiene: I try not to smell more than the flowers around me.
Favorite Food: Oh, let me see here it is either, onion grass, honeysuckles, or parchment. I can not rightly remember.
Are your parents alive, do you get along with them: I am not sure? Are you my mother?
If your parents are dead, when and how did they die: Oh no! My parents are dead? Who were they?
Favorite place to relax: Where ever the other fairies are is where I am most relaxed and comfortable.
Favorite Holy Day / Why: I suppose my favorite celebration would be the harvest festival because there is always lots of food and I like food!
Favorite Drink: I think I had a spiced wine once and really enjoyed it. Or I may have utterly hated it. I can not really recall which it was.
What's your bedtime: When ever I remember that I am tired.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: I have a nice pair of leather sandals. I am afraid however that they may not truly be mine because they are a bit too big for me. But I have no recollection of whose they are.
Are you married or single: Goodness! I hope that I am not married! Or else I have been a very negligent wife!
Do you have a family / who are they: I have the other fairies, and that is all the family I need.
Favorite Entertainment: The mortals are usually entertainment enough but we fairies can always find ways of entertaining each other.
Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: I do not know, what are chores? What is a school? Where am I? More to the point, who am I?
Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: I do not think I would like any chores!
Favorite Sport: There is this one game that I play with sticks but every time I play it I forget how the rules go. So I just make up new ones.
Most Humiliating Moment: I do not think anything could be more humiliating than forgetting your own name. Well, maybe forgetting to breathe. That one is very humiliating indeed!
Proudest Moment: Remembering my name, Flid! That can not be right. Oh I have it, it is Tansy!
Craziest Person or silliest you know: Oh well that would have to be Lod. Her and all that mud! I just do not see how she can stand to be in it all of the time.
What do you look for in the opposite sex: Impeccable memory. Enough said.
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, Who is your immediate "overlord" : I guess since I forget so much and the other fairies have to take care of me, then they must be my overlords. Maybe? But that is alright because the other alternative is wondering about aimlessly without the slightest clue as to whom or what I am.
Favorite Sport to watch: Snail racing. Most get bored with it but I can never keep in mind just when the race began so it works out nicely for me.
Do you remember your first kiss: I know I have kissed before but when, where, and with who escapes me.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends: I had a childhood? That is fantastic! What was it like?
Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: Any spot is my favorite place to holiday in. I can not ever remember whether or not I have been to a place. So every time is a new adventure. Sometimes it just pays to have a short term memory!
Have you ever been overseas: Yes, because the other fairies told me that I have.
Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: I have always had dirt floors because I have always lived out in the wild. Or at least I think so.
What is your bed made of: Flowers, I plant one every spring, and water it everyday! That is I try to remember to water it everyday.
How many people sleep in your bed: Sleep in my bed! There had better be no one sleeping in my flower bed! They might crush my beautiful flowers!
