Nicknames: Fay. Finny, ever since I started calling my sister Ninny, and since I like to swim like a fish…and fish have fins.
Hometown or where you were born: Realm of the elves, Ellthelldren
Current Residence: Canterbury
Age: I consider myself timeless, after my 457th year I stopped counting, and base my age on my knowledge, I consider myself still young.
Class: Elven
What do you do, your main function in life/society: As an elf, I keep the beauty of the natural world alive, when I dance rivers turn clear turquoise blue and other such wonderful wonders. I also tavel and gather knowledge, mainly of mortals, of whom I am fascinated of, as they should be of me.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: Skinny-dipping? Well of course I swim without clothes, the fishes do it, why cant I. I can swim as gracefully as any creature of water, it’s in my nature.
Do you make fun of people: I like to give everyone the respect they deserve, but I am quite honest, which has offended people, but honestly, I meant no harm!
Favorite Color: The color of the rising moon and the setting sun mixed on a calm body of water.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Crime? Not that I am aware of, ask my sister Naerwyn, she keeps better track of such, and she always gets onto me about not caring enough about petty details.
Closest friends/How did you meet:
my sister Naerwyn, we were sung from the same regal tree, and forever will we be close. We travel the world together, returning to out homeland every year and stay a few years.
One Pillow or two: I do not need such comforts to be at peace for a nights sleep, I am perfectly satisfied with any luxury nature gives me, such as a branch that fits my form perfectly.
Pets: I treat every living thing, plant and animal alike, as I would a faithful friend. I have so many that I care equally for I would not know where to start!
Favorite Type of Music: Elven music, that haunts and lifts. And I must say, Gypsy music of the mortals have such an effect on me, I can never help but be merry and dance whenever I hear it.
Hobbies/Pastimes: Studying the ways of all classes, human, animal, and immortals alike. I want to understand all minds, and all ways of life. I also enjoy dancing! I could dance away everynight.
Personal Hygiene: Whenever in Ellthelldren, every other night in the shine of moonlight I bath in the clearest crystal water one would ever imagine, in the mortal realm I’ve had to do a lot of dancing to clean the filth of their modern world.
Favorite Food: Fruit of every kind!
Are your parents alive, do you get along with them: I was sung from mother nature by the flawless flow of an Elven voice, mother nature shall never perish as long as my race is around. I am filled with love and respect for her, of course.
If your parents are dead, when and how did they die: of course not, Mother Nature is alive and well, and will be forever more, or all else is lost!
Favorite place to relax: In the middle of nowhere, where problems are small.
Favorite Holy Day / Why: before I came to Canterbury I would say the night of the full moon, for in Ellthelldren for that is when the elves dance and sing together to strengthen the beauty of nature, but this harvest festival around me right now is full of so many interesting characters!
Favorite Drink: necter of cranberries
What's your bedtime: some days I sleep once the moon rises, some when the sun rises, I’ve even gone a year without sleeping, and slept the next! But I missed too much, I was startled at how much really happens in a year.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: I always go barefoot back home, for every surface is fine, but here in Canterbury it is rough, so I wear some form boots or ghillies from a mortal merchant.
Are you married or single: I’m single currently. Solitude, a thing many elves prefer, is not for me I think, but every soul that attempts to woo me cannot keep me occupied, what a shame.
Do you have a family / who are they: I’d like to consider every living thing my family, but not all classes agree with that belief.
And so my true family is the Elves, including my darling older sister Naerwyn, and all of nature.
Favorite Entertainment: dancing and music. And studying mortals, always something new and odd with them, they change much more often than immortals.
Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: when I was quiet young in life, me and my sister Naerwyn had to learn the way of elves and nature, I was blessed with my dance!
Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: When very young I had to squeeze all the nectar out of a million apples, it was before I gained patience so I grew very bored.
Favorite Sport: Dancing!
Most Humiliating Moment: I find every not-so-proud moment I have to be an experience in which I should not blush, that is for mortals!
Proudest Moment: when I finally learned my first mystical dance and created a small babbling brook.
Craziest Person or silliest you know: Every faerie I know! Oh they are filled with such character and merriment and mischief!
And oh! Just the other day I met the most precious and sillest mortal, his name was Dustbin, a dusty little creature, who had a pure heart of silver! My sister said I could keep him, but Icould never treat someone like an object.
What do you look for in the opposite sex: The one who matches my dreams, one who’s looks are breathtakingly exotic, and who’s soul is a deep as the ocean.
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, Who is your immediate "overlord": Mother Nature
Favorite Sport to watch:*yawn* tiresome! I much rather join the fun!
Do you remember your first kiss: Always. I danced the night away with someone who matched my dreams, that night haunts me to often, I dream often that he will come back to me. I do not know what class he was, I could not sense or smell either human or immortal. When I hear certain tunes my mind goes insane with yearning for one more dance.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends: Those who live as long as me! So yes, most all of my companions back home, and in other Enchanted Realms.
Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: Anywhere new.
Have you ever been overseas: Naerwyn and I have traveled many places, of course overseas.
Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: All natural surfaces are my ‘floor’, any part of nature is my home.
What is your bed made of: A tree! So naturally, branches and leaves. The trick with my beds is they never want to stop talking to me! I have to trick them into hushing up.
How many people sleep in your bed: well there are the tiny many bugs, never a bother, usually my sister is close by me, then myself of course, and in my stay at the Enchanted Forest a few faeries will join us.
10 Things Everybody Should Know About Me:
1. I talk to all living things, which includes trees! I have had many odd looks from those who cannot hear them. Pffft.
2. Although I understand it is the Circle of Life, I do not eat meat. The thought of having a once beating heart in me makes me very sad.
3. Gypsies fascinate me, always traveling and living free lives, dancing and singing.
4. I do not have as much patience as I should, being an elf and all.
5. I can find the beauty in all things.
6. I am always daydreaming.
7. I can ride a horse [or any large mammal] better than any knight.
8. When in water, or when I am craving to be submerged in water, my skin turns a beautiful blue/green, usually there is always a spot of said colors.
9. Most elves are very solemn and serious, for after all they have lived through many ages and seen much death and destruction, but I still am very cheerful, and plan to stay that way no matter what horrors I see.
10. I can read into other’s souls after just a few words, but I keep such knowledge to myself (unless I tell them their flaws or beauties).
