Closest friends/How did you meet:

Avery – My closest childhood friend. He was also a court musician. Sadly, I have not seen him since my departure. I miss him very much.

Sapphira – I have a very strong connection with Sapphira. She is the first real friend I made when I joined the troupe. Perhaps it is because we can both feel the gypsy rhythms and are able to share them with others through our drumming. She is the one who taught me many of the dances and songs to accompany them.

Viola – Viola and I did not really start getting to know one another until I had been with the troupe some time. She did not trust me at first as I was once gadje. But now we have become great friends. I do enjoy spending time with Viola. She is a lot of fun. We do a bit of gossiping among our selves. Nothing that would hurt anyone’s feelings, of course.

Adonis – Adonis and I did not meet until I joined the troupe but I do remember seeing him from time to time. How can one forget his dancing? He is great fun to be around and even more fun to tease. It seems that I am always getting some silly little song stuck in his head though.

Esmerelda – I do believe Esmerelda and I began our friendship by teasing Adonis. It is fun to watch her dance and sing and to win the attention of a certain gypsy. I enjoy seeing her face light up when I surprise her with sweet treats I make every so often.

Evgeny Boleyn – Evgeny and I made acquaintance at a gypsy revel. I enjoy seeing him and hearing of his adventures. I especially like hearing about his artistry. I feel a kind of understanding of him. Perhaps it is because we are both artists at heart.

Nikolai Boleyn – Nikolai and I also met at a gypsy revel. No one else in the troupe can make me laugh as he does. He is quite silly, though I do enjoy watching him dance. He often throws me off beat while I am playing my drum.

One Pillow or two: Two but I will gladly give them up to someone who has none.

Pets: I have a soft heart for animals and I feel it is wrong to keep them from their natural environment.
