Don Quixote
Name Given at Birth: Sages who have chronicled my
quests have my surname as Quixada, Quexana or Quesada and my given name,
Alonso. Alas, tis of no importance for I am known to all in need as the
Knight Don Quixote of the Mancha.
Nicknames: There was a true knight known as the Knight of the Burning Sword, the Knight of the Lions but alas and alack I am known as the Knight of the Unfortunate Countenance.
Hometown or where you were born: The village of La Mancha, wherein lies my estate and vast acres of tillageland, a great many parcels have I exchanged to furnish my library with books on chivalry and tales of knighthood.
Current Residence: The present hour finds me sallying forth to roam through all the four quarters of the world seeking adventures on behalf of those in distress, as is the duty of chivalry and of knights-errant like myself, whose ambition is directed to such worthy deeds.
Age: Nearly 50 years have I lived.
Class: I am of noble birth but appearance of self served vanity permiteth me not to extol upon my forebearage.
What do you do, your main function in life/society: I am a knight-errant and the true champion of my lady the glorious and high-born Dulcinea del Toboso. It is my charge to right all wrongs and free those oppressed unjustly.
Have you ever gone skinny-dipping / do you know how to swim: Modesty permits me not to bathe ungirded.
Do you make fun of people: The law of chivalry to which I hold steadfast demands that I do not make game of people, save the Enchanter and is he not justly deserving of my taunts and ridicules?
Favorite Color: The purest white do I favor as it is spotless as my fair Dulcinea del Toboso and as well the color worn by upon the armour of novice knights.
Have you ever committed or been convicted of a crime: Indeed not as t’would be far from a Knight-errant and most unworthy becoming censured and to be pressed into chains.
Closest friends/How did you meet: Having need of a squire, I petitioned an honest neighbor whom previous to this laboured in the fields called Sancho Panza who eagerly joined me in my quest. He has been my dearest companion since.
One Pillow or two: My bed is on the flinty rock and my only rest is the fray.
Pets: Indeed I have a greyhound for coursing that I have left to the care of my stablekeep. My only beast now is my great mount Rocinante who carrries me true and steady into battle.
Favorite Type of Music: I prefer much the ballad that extoleth on the virtues of love as ‘tis true that all or most of the knights-errant in days of yore were great troubadours and great musicians, for this reason I have accomplished myself in the arts of melody and verse.
Hobbies/Pastimes: I give myself to discourse on oft occasion with the curate of my village curate of his village a most learned man and a graduate of the Siguenza as to which had been the better knight, Palmerin of England or Amadis of Gaul. Moreover there is one, Master Nicholas,

What's your bedtime: I require but little rest, often keeping vigil in prayer throughout the early watch over my arms.
What, if anything, do you usually wear on your feet: A wear a most sturdy pair of leather boots as wouldst befit a knight.
Are you married or single: I remaineth chaste to the honor of The Empress of Toboso Dulcinea del Toboso, day of my night, glory of my suffering, true North and compass of every path I take.
Do you have a family / who are they: I have in my house a housekeeper past forty, a niece who is noty yet twenty, and a lad for the field and market-place, who didst saddle my mount as well as handle the bill-hook.
Favorite Entertainment: I commit myself to reading with great avidity, oft of which I am told to the neglect of the cares of this world.
Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: Reading of the tales of the great knight-errants that preceedeth me.
Least Favorite Subject in School or Chore growing up: I found any matter not dealing with great adventure most tedious and tiresome.
Favorite Sport: The sport of falconry engageth me much as it is requisite of knights for obtaining game while on the march of battle.
Most Humiliating Moment: Sancho does oft chide me about a certain incident when The Enchanter caused great monstrous giants to transform themselves into common windmills depriving me of a great victory.
Proudest Moment: When I was dubbed Knight by His Lordship the Castellano, whom I met upon the occasion of my first sally.
Craziest Person or silliest you know: Sancho does seem to have a belly full of proverbs which I must admit to finding a bit foolish.
What do you look for in the opposite sex: I have but eyes set only on the incomparable Empress of Toboso.
In our Hierarchical Society everybody has somebody "over" them, who is your immediate "overlord": My strong right arm is pledged to Their Majesties.
Favorite Sport to watch: The knightly tournament of arms where the test their might and valor on the field.
Do you remember your first kiss: If I were but to touch the hem of milady’s garment that woudst certainly suffice and cause me to rejoice greatly in our matchless love.
Do you keep in touch with your childhood friends? Nay I recalleth them not.
Where is your favorite "Vacation" spot: My knightly duties permiteth me not to entertain trivial leisures.
Have you ever been overseas: I am sallying forth unto the vastly world at present time.
Do you have Dirt/Mud floors or Stone: The floors of my estate are cut of stone.
What is your bed made of? My bed is the grass of the field and my helm and saddle my comfort.
How many people sleep in your bed: As I am a without a spouse or progeny I sleep but alone.
